BY MIA PROCTOR

Mia is a designer and creative based in Leeds, and the creative lead at Rat Depot, a DIY film screening and events group. She loves all kinds of cinema, but horror has a special place in her heart — especially this time of year.

My poster for Evil Dead 2 takes inspiration from 1980s IKEA catalogues. I designed a custom typeface and styled the layout like a product spread, with labelled items from the cabin. It’s playful, clean and a bit silly — without relying on gore.
